OpalSoft becomes a Versant Ignite partner

Jose, Calif., March 2, 2000 -- OpalSoft , a Silicon Valley based IT
service provider today announced that it had become one of the first
Ignite partners. The Versant Ignite is a starter program for e-business
application developers and consulting partners. The program provides
customers of Versant application server partners, that today include
IBM WebSphere and BEA WebLogic, the capability to persist Java objects,
enhance performance and ensure transactional integrity in the middle-tier
of a large-scale e-business application with the Versant enJin family
of products.

Versant Ignite is a two-pronged program, consisting of the developer

required to be certified on Versant technologies and methodologies
before being able to participate in the Ignite Program.
